1. Legal Notice and Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BotChain, a non-custodial automated cryptocurrency trading execution platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use BotChain.

2. Description of the Service

BotChain allows users to configure and deploy automated grid, DCA, and scalping strategies on supported spot exchange accounts through API connections.

BotChain does not hold, manage, transfer, or custody user funds. Trades occur directly on the connected exchange account according to the parameters configured by the user.

3. Eligibility and User Obligations

• You must be legally able to enter into binding agreements and use the platform in compliance with applicable laws.
• You are responsible for securing your BotChain account, exchange account, API keys, and two-factor authentication settings.
• You are responsible for monitoring your bots, understanding configured strategies, and complying with tax and reporting obligations.

4. Exchange API Key Restrictions

API keys connected to BotChain must be configured without withdrawal permissions. BotChain is designed as an execution layer and must never receive permissions that allow asset withdrawals.

You are responsible for reviewing exchange permissions before connecting an API key.

5. Risk Disclosure

• Cryptocurrency trading involves high risk and volatile prices. Digital assets can lose significant value, including total loss.
• BotChain does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
• Automated strategies, backtests, optimizer recommendations, dashboard metrics, and historical performance do not guarantee future results.
• You remain responsible for capital allocation, market exposure, monitoring, emergency actions, and all trading outcomes.

6. Intellectual Property

The BotChain platform, interface, code, brand assets, documentation, strategy templates, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the platform according to your subscription and these terms.

7. Availability and Changes

BotChain may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or product reasons.

We aim to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific trading outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BotChain is not liable for losses caused by market movements, exchange outages, user configuration, API key permissions, latency, third-party services, taxes, or use of automated strategies.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

9. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by applicable French law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules where they apply.
